1.5 PD Hours

During this workshop, we will use materials from The Change Agent, a resource that is free to Massachusetts teachers. It provides examples of how to prepare students to recognize injustice through proportional reasoning and statistical literacy.

This workshop is the third in a series of three workshops focusing on equity and math. Participation in all three is encouraged, but not required. The other two workshops are:

  • Creating Math Classrooms Where Students Participate
  • When Students Resist Teaching for Conceptual Understanding
