The Asynchronous Anti-racism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) Learning Series offers self-paced training to advance equity in public adult education. Created by Adult & Community Learning Services of Massachusetts and UPD Consulting, this course equips participants with tools for impactful change in racial equity. Virtual Communities of Practice (CoP) sessions further deepen understanding through interactive discussions. Ideal for newcomers or those seeking a refresher, this series provides a flexible path to fostering inclusive learning environments.

Definitions:
Antiracism: Actively identifying and changing structural and institutional roles that advantage white people over BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, people of color) through sustained focus on systemic racism.
Diversity: Ensuring the presence of various identities, such as race, gender, age, and more, within the organization.
Equity: Removing barriers and providing support for fair treatment and equal opportunities, particularly for BIPOC.
Inclusion: Engaging all people to foster respect, belonging, and access to opportunity through diverse cultural integration.
