Trauma-Informed Instruction

2 PD Hours

This workshop, hosted by the ELA, Math, and ESOL C&I PD Centers, focuses on the effects of trauma on the brain, the impact of trauma on learning, and why an understanding of trauma matters to adult educators. We will also discuss how to notice when a student is experiencing any kind of trauma while teaching remotely and ways to deal with this as a teacher.

This course is a collaboration among the curriculum & instruction teams.
