Full course description
Students arrive to our classes with a range of computer skills. This can be challenging to manage! One strategy that many programs use to address the challenge is to provide students with opportunities to build essential skills before class even starts. In this course, you will learn three different approaches to implementing this strategy from staff at Catholic Charities, Worcester Public Schools, and MassLINKS. At the end of this course, you will also have an opportunity to reflect on your specific context and come up with an approach to helping students build the skills and confidence they need to use essential digital tools in their classes.
