1.5 PD Hours
This 90-minute workshop provides a brief overview of both TSTM and CALM. Participants will get access to a resource that provides guidance on using TSTM to support and further contextualize math learning from CALM math classes. They will participate in a CALM activity and make explicit connections to a related TSTM lesson, learning how to use the context provided in the TSTM lesson to give students an opportunity to apply their math learning while also growing in the nine “skills that matter” targeted by the TSTM lessons.
