During this session, you will learn why it is important for your students to read fluently. We will explain the three components of reading fluency (accuracy, rate, and prosody), and the impact these have on reading. We will introduce EBRI strategies for teaching fluency, and we will cover the importance of teaching reading using explicit instruction.
