EBRI Comprehension Strategies

In this 1.5-hour workshop, you will learn EBRI (Evidenced-Based Reading Instruction) strategies for teaching comprehension skills. The session will be facilitated by two nationally certified MA STAR trainers.

Comprehension skills are integral to student success. Join this session to learn how to teach reading comprehension by using explicit instruction. You will learn two instructional strategies for summarizing material that will help your learners build comprehension and critical thinking skills. The strategies presented require minimal prep time for the teacher, have a high impact on student learning, and can be adapted for students at any level.
