In this workshop, we explore several engaging tools that instructors can use to prepare students for naturalization process, which includes the interview, civics test, reading and writing tests, and speaking test (based on questions and definitions from the N-400 application). Learn how to use tools like Quizizz, Edpuzzle, Flippity, and Padlet specifically for citizenship content, whether teaching online or in person. The presenter will also demonstrate several high-quality citizenship resources that can form the basis of lessons or that students can use for independent study.
Between the two sessions, participants are encouraged to practice creating lessons and activities with the tools mentioned above, and the presenter will provide feedback.
