1.5 PD Hours per session
The ASG meetings are open to anyone who works in an advising role, regardless of their title. Time will be provided in each ASG meeting for statewide discussion and for more targeted conversations organized by region and/or program type, including corrections. Each meeting of the ASG starts with time for statewide presentations, updates, and sharing; time will also be offered for advisors from the same region or program type (including corrections) to meet. This year’s core topics include:
- Student Motivation
- Older Student motivation
- Caseload management
- Advisor Burnout
- Mental Health Resources Career/Workforce resources
New this year, resources shared in the ASG will be collected, stored, and disseminated through Canvas for reference and discussion both within and beyond the ASG meetings.
